Si un outil pour en simplifier l'installation sur PC a déjà été publié, BioShock n'avait pas encore eu les honneurs d'une véritable mise à jour... C'est maintenant chose faite. Comme promis la semaine dernière, 2K Games vient effectivement de publier le patch v1.1 sur PC et Xbox 360.

Moyennant un téléchargement d'environ 27 Mo pour la version PC, cette mise à jour revient sur une série de bugs plus ou moins gênants comme des problèmes avec la synchronisation verticale, l'EAX ou les sous-titres. Il est également question de nouveautés avec la présence de 7 plasmides / toniques inédits alors que 100 nouveaux points « succès » sont attribués aux joueurs qui auront défait le jeu sans utiliser les vita chambres.

- Removed erroneous "Reload" binding in a no-weapons context
- Fixed incorrect Training Message concerning bots who are friendly to enemy AIs
- Fixed incorrect Training Message when shooting a Mimic
- Fixed refresh rate being locked at 60hz in DX10 mode
- Fixed VSync disabling in DX10 mode

- Fix for rare case where a partial cache is not cleared

- Fix for GUI sounds not playing during heavy action

- Possible fix for pauses or hangs when opening flash bink movies
- Fix for switching difficulty breaking achievement
- Fix for small texture streaming bug
